Full Job Description
Join EY's Technology Consulting team as a Software Engineer or Sr. Software Engineer, contributing to Guidewire engagements for global clients. You will collaborate with a team to fulfill various technical responsibilities in Guidewire projects, communicate with onsite coordinators, and ensure timely task completion with regular status reporting to your lead.
We are seeking candidates with a BE/BTech/MCA degree and 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter configuration and integration.
- Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Knowledge of Personal Lines products (e.g., Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners) OR Commercial Lines products (e.g., Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation).
- Strong command of Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, and ANT.
- Skilled in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and enterprise messaging systems.
- Experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic.
- Practical experience in enterprise system integration, preferably within the insurance sector.
- Understanding and application of software development best practices.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Previous client-facing experience is required.
