Full Job Description
EY is seeking a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology Consulting team in Kolkata, India. This role will focus on Guidewire engagements for our global clients. You will be part of a team contributing to various technical streams, interfacing with onsite coordinators, and ensuring timely completion of tasks with regular status reporting.
We are looking for candidates with a BE/BTech/MCA and 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience.
Mandatory Skills:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and Integration.
- Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience.
- Experience with Personal Lines products (e.g., Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners) OR Commercial Lines products (e.g., Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Business Owners).
- Proficiency in Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.
- Strong skills in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and any Enterprise Messaging System.
- Experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic.
- Real-time experience with enterprise system integration, preferably in the insurance domain.
- Understanding and experience of software development best practices.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Prior client-facing experience.
