Full Job Description
EY is seeking a Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer for their Technology Consulting team in Noida, UP, India. This role will focus on Guidewire engagements for global clients.
As a team member, you will contribute to various technical streams within Guidewire projects, interface with onsite coordinators, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with regular status reporting to the lead. This position requires a BE/BTech/MCA degree and 1.5 to 3 years of sound industry experience.
Mandatory skills include demonstrable knowledge and experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and Integration, and experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Candidates should be proficient in either Personal Lines products (e.g., Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners) or Commercial Lines products (e.g., Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation). Technical expertise required includes Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT, Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System, and strong knowledge of Tomcat, Websphere, or Weblogic. Experience with enterprise system integration, preferably within the insurance domain, and a solid understanding of software development best practices are essential. Excellent business communication skills and prior client-facing experience are also required.
