Full Job Description
Pinkerton is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to support one of our largest global clients. This role involves in-depth research, open-source intelligence analysis, and social media monitoring to identify and assess threats impacting the client's executives, operations, and assets. The analyst will vet crisis response activations and provide intelligence analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor global security developments using open-source intelligence, social media, and specialized tools to identify potential threats to employees, operations, and assets.
- Analyze incoming intelligence and contribute to the continuous improvement of threat monitoring and reporting processes.
- Monitor security alarms and alerts from various systems including intrusion detection, access control, fire, and life safety.
- Conduct continuous CCTV surveillance to detect, assess, and document security incidents.
- Troubleshoot and triage alarms to determine validity, severity, and appropriate response actions.
- Identify and report system issues, trends, and recurring false alarms.
- Assist in testing and validation of security systems and procedures.
- Initiate and coordinate response actions, including notifications and escalations, following standard operating procedures.
- Process access card requests, including profile creation/updates, card printing, and access management based on approved authorizations.
- Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and outcomes in security management systems.
- Maintain comprehensive situational awareness across multiple sites and systems.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Track, document, and report on the progress of projects and initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Communicate with senior security management regarding employee welfare, global incidents, operational issues, and critical situations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams, management, and external responders.
- Complete administrative duties supporting security-related programs.
- Maintain communications with internal and external partners relevant to security programs.
- Adhere to established GSOC policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Support projects and functions as directed by GSOC Supervisors or Managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of experience in a GSOC environment, coupled with intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related experience.
- Familiarity with standard security communication protocols and tools.
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in news and current world events.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to process, evaluate, and synthesize large volumes of information.
- Strong analytical skills to provide rigorous and creative insights into complex situations.
- Client-oriented and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in multitasking and delivering timely work products in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member.
- Capability to handle highly confidential security-related information.
- Strong personal initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
This role requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. This includes regular computer use, occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, operating office equipment, and frequent sitting. The position involves shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may require occasional travel.
