Role Overview
We are seeking Ground Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2027. As an intern, you will own a well-scoped software project from design through implementation and testing under the mentorship of experienced engineers. You will contribute to ground software stacks, development tools, or spacecraft systems supporting high-performance satellite constellations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test your own software projects with guidance from senior staff.
- Develop robust code for critical ground operations or tooling environments.
- Propose innovative solutions and iterate on system designs based on team feedback.
- Actively participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable documentation and source code.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver reliable spacecraft systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across unfamiliar tools, validating assumptions to resolve bugs effectively.
