Scientific American is seeking a talented Graphics Intern to join our New York, NY team. This hybrid internship offers a fantastic opportunity to design and produce compelling charts and infographics for engaging news stories. You will contribute to both digital and print formats, working closely with our editorial team. Responsibilities include creating visuals for breaking news, analysis, and feature articles, as well as developing graphics for the print magazine. A key aspect of this role involves pitching and executing at least one graphic-driven story for publication across both online and print platforms, and pitching additional original content.
