Graduate Design Engineer

Ramboll's Towers and Telecom department is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This role involves solving technically challenging tasks across steel and concrete structures, with a focus on wind-affected structures like masts and towers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering, construction, and telecommunications, and will contribute to Ramboll's mission of creating a sustainable future through innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with colleagues on the design of telecommunication structures, including steel lattice towers, monopoles, rooftop poles, and antenna mounts, adhering to Indian and International standards. Responsibilities include performing structural design and assessment, undertaking design reviews and certifications, generating design solutions, preparing site design enhancement reports, identifying and managing site design risks, and preparing risk assessment reports. The role also involves preparing CAD drafts, liaising with CAD drafters, coordinating with Project Engineers for detailed design drawings and computations, conducting site inspections, and producing feasibility reports. You will also be responsible for producing design solutions within scheduled timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Civil/Structural Engineering qualification.
• Knowledge of Telecom design software such as RISA/TNX Tower, MStower, and iTowersMW is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications/structural industry, or strong fundamental structural engineering skills.
• Previous experience in major mobile base station site designs or antenna mounting support structures is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Indian and American Standards, and strong knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) and design & engineering systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information to various audiences.
• Proficiency in liaising with client representatives to provide project status updates and manage expectations.
• Strong client engagement and project management skills to support client business growth.
