Google Cloud Infra Module Lead - Noida

Join Sopra Steria as a Google Cloud Engineer in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This role focuses on leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and associated technologies to build and manage robust infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize GCP services including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Compute Engine (GCE), Cloud DNS, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Cloud Storage, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Automate the deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
• Employ Docker and Docker Compose for containerization and orchestration.
• Manage build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Integrate and maintain code quality tools like SonarQube.
• Manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps.

Required Skillset:

• 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Extensive experience with GCP services such as GKE, GCE, Cloud DNS, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud NAT, and Anthos Service Mesh.
• Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD, including Jenkins shared library concepts.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Basic knowledge of application servers including Jboss, Wildfly, and Websphere.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Deep understanding of Helm Charts.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and Groovy.

• Bachelor of Engineering
• Master of Computer Applications
