About the Opportunity
We are seeking an expert Software Developer III to join our PVC Product Software Engineering team. In this hands-on senior role, you will pair deep Go and Kubernetes expertise with architectural leadership to design and evolve the core of RackAI.
- Design and develop highly scalable backend services in Go (Golang).
- Build Kubernetes-native applications including operators and controllers using controller-runtime and kubebuilder.
- Define and evolve platform architecture for growth, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Lead an AI-First Engineering Culture
You will help shape the future of AI-powered products by embedding modern cloud-native technology. Key responsibilities include:
- Championing A-driven, AI-first approaches across engineering teams.
- Embedding AI development tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, GitHub Copilot) throughout the lifecycle from design to documentation.
- Setting standards for responsible use of AI coding assistants regarding code quality and security.
Engineer Platform & Infrastructure
You will optimize Kubernetes deployments across environments, automate provisioning and scaling, partner with Platform Engineering teams, and ensure solutions meet rigorous security and compliance requirements.
Mentorship & Leadership
This role offers significant opportunities to:
- Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.
- Lead architectural reviews and set coding standards.
- Mentor Software Developers I–III.
