We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Kolkata. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Dataflows. You will implement data integration strategies for both on-premises and cloud data sources, and construct and manage Lakehouses within Microsoft Fabric to optimize data storage and analytics. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining data models and data marts for visualization tools like Power BI, monitoring and optimizing Azure and Fabric resources, and implementing advanced data techniques such as partitioning and indexing for query performance. Ensuring data quality through profiling, validation, and cleansing is crucial. This position will also support the integration of Microsoft Synapse Analytics for big data workloads, enable real-time and batch data processing using Azure Stream Analytics or Event Hubs, and implement data governance practices with Microsoft Purview. Data security and privacy will be maintained through RBAC and encryption. The role requires developing comprehensive data documentation.
