Role Overview

Hirely is recruiting experienced Go Software Engineers on behalf of a hiring partner. You will build datasets that teach AI agents to reason about real-world software codebases, focusing on challenging exploration and reasoning tasks involving production Go repositories.

Your Responsibilities:

• Select tasks from a pre-validated pool of Go repositories pinned to specific Git commits.
• Explore unfamiliar repos until you genuinely understand subsystems, including related PR or issue history.
• Rewrite engineering questions that challenge advanced coding agents while remaining well-defined and answerable.
• Adjust rubrics and foils to reward correct reasoning and reject plausible but incorrect answers.
• Run the complete validation process in the project platform and iterate until every stage passes.
• Document your work in task READMEs.
