What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer Associate at BCG Gurgaon:

• You will have overall technical responsibility for the design, development, and support of BCG's global Staffing applications using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with internal/external developers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions meeting organizational needs.
• Serve as a hands-on developer while providing technical guidance, oversight, and code reviews for development activities.

Ensure the health of Staffing applications regarding program quality and operational effectiveness from a technical standpoint. Lead initiatives that generate results allowing clients to thrive.

What You'll Bring

• Educational Requirements: A college degree plus 2-5 years of experience developing business applications in commercial IT or consulting settings.

• Technical Skills Required:
  • Strong development skills with Angular (v5+), HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, and XML.
  • Significant experience building Web apps/services using Microsoft ASP.NET/MVC, C#, Node.js, .NET Core, APIs, IIS, and React.
  • Proficiency with commercial RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Expertise in Git/TFS for code versioning.

• Cloud & Modernization: Experience with Azure, Docker containerization, DBT commands, Snowflake data platforms, and setting up/maintaining integrations with SaaS/Cloud applications (including Mulesoft/Kong).

• Ambience Architecture: Proven experience implementing SOA & Microservices using REST APIs and queue-based messaging patterns.

• Innovation: Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI implementations, underlying architectures, and models. Sound knowledge of DevSecOps practices.

• Process & Collaboration: Experience working in Agile environments, supporting external application providers, troubleshooting production tickets, maintaining low technical debt, and keeping the IT Roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate requirements into scalable applications.
  • Ability to direct external developers and perform rigorous code reviews.
