This pivotal role within our Brand & Marketing team is responsible for driving the growth and performance of our multi-million dollar gift card program and spearheading the strategy and optimization of our email marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of the Earls gift card program across all channels including in-store, e-commerce, corporate, and third-party partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data-driven decision-making.

  • Create and implement impactful seasonal promotional strategies to enhance in-store and digital sales performance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of the Holiday Gift Card program (September–March), encompassing forecasting, distribution, operational support, collateral development, incentive programs, and hands-on fulfillment during peak periods.
  • Monitor performance through regular reporting (monthly, and weekly during peak season), translating data into actionable insights and strategic optimizations.
  • Manage the gift card P&L by forecasting revenue and expenses, overseeing budgets, reconciling expenditures, and presenting strategic updates and performance insights to senior leadership.

  • Manage supplier relationships and inventory planning for all gift card distribution channels to ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and timely fulfillment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of all gift card initiatives, continuously refining investment decisions and growth tactics.
  • Oversee the gift card inbox and handle corporate sales inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication with guests, operations, and external partners.
  • Lead the Earls e-newsletter program, developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive engagement, improve open and click-through rates, and support overall brand goals.
  • Implement audience segmentation, testing strategies, and performance analysis within Mailchimp, utilizing data to inform recommendations and enhance digital performance.
  • Develop scalable, on-brand email workflows and processes to facilitate efficient execution by cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to integrated marketing initiatives by participating in weekly marketing meetings and providing agile support to team members on seasonal campaigns and high-priority projects to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within the retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing brand sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in revenue-driving initiatives or P&L management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and budget management.
  • Hands-on experience with Mailchimp (or a similar Email Service Provider), including segmentation, reporting, and campaign optimization.
  • Prior experience with gift card programs, B2B sales, partnership development, or third-party vendor management is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and possessing strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.

About You:

  • A good sense of humor.
  • A genuine passion for food and dining experiences.
  • Enthusiastic about personal development and growth opportunities.
  • Driven to succeed and eager to contribute to Earls' continued growth.
