Generative AI Engineer

Job Title: Gen AI Engineer, Agentic AI

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Design and architect scalable, robust, and secure Agentic AI solutions for Java, Python, Node.js, React.js, and Angular applications.
• Agent Development: Lead the development of AI agents for critical lending processes, including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and customer interaction.
• LLM Integration: Evaluate, integrate, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance natural language understanding, generation, and complex reasoning within AI agents.
• Tooling and Frameworks: Develop and implement essential tooling, frameworks, and infrastructure for the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI agents.
• Data Strategy: Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define data requirements, data pipelines, and data governance for training and optimizing AI agents.
• Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of Agentic AI research and identify opportunities to apply new techniques and technologies to our platform.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers on AI/ML best practices and agentic system design.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of AI-driven lending solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record in designing and building complex, enterprise-grade applications.
• AI/ML Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML principles, especially in Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems.
  • Experience in developing and deploying AI agents using various frameworks and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Deep Learning techniques.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, React.js, and Angular.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Strong cloud computing experience, particularly with AWS.
  • Experience with software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership: Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other engineers.
