Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications leveraging large language models (LLMs) for enterprise and real-world use cases.
- Build and maintain LLM pipelines using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and related agentic orchestration tools.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, encompassing data ingestion, chunking, embedding generation, vector search, and re-ranking techniques.
- Integrate and manage vector databases like Pinecone, Milvus, or Chroma for scalable knowledge retrieval.
- Work with open-source LLMs (e.g., LLaMA-based models) utilizing platforms like Ollama for both local and cloud deployments.
- Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies, including zero-shot, few-shot, Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, and Self-RAG techniques.
- Build multimodal AI solutions by integrating vision and speech models, creating image, text, and audio pipelines.
- Implement speech-to-text and text-to-speech capabilities using models such as Whisper and Piper.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve Generative AI systems using observability and evaluation metrics that cover performance, cost, quality, safety, and user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Optimize inference latency, cost, and reliability while ensuring responsible and safe AI usage.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and the continuous improvement of AI development best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI, agent frameworks, and the open-source ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Generative AI / LLM-based applications in production environments.
- Exposure to agent frameworks and RAG pipelines utilizing vector databases.
- Hands-on knowledge of open-source LLMs and prompt engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with multimodal AI, observability, and evaluation metrics.
- Working knowledge of Python, APIs, and cloud-based AI deployments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
