Overview
HYCU is seeking an accomplished AI / Generative AI Architect to spearhead the definition of end-to-end technical architectures for our Generative AI-powered data insight platforms. This critical role ensures our AI solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and compliant with business and regulatory mandates. We are committed to developing next-generation Generative AI products that provide enterprise-scale, actionable data insights. Our platform integrates Large Language Models (LLMs), advanced data engineering, knowledge graphs, and AI agents to empower organizations to analyze, comprehend, and act on their data with enhanced speed and intelligence. Our focus is on creating secure, scalable, explainable, and compliant AI systems tailored for real-world enterprise applications.

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid; 3 days onsite/2 days remote)

What You’ll Do:

• Define and lead the comprehensive architecture for Generative AI platforms, encompassing LLMs, data layers, knowledge systems, and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Architect scalable, cloud-native solutions optimized for high-performance AI workloads.
• Establish robust architectural patterns for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), reasoning, evaluation, and observability.
• Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements, including reliability, security, compliance, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams across AI, data, and platform disciplines.
• Design and maintain standardized reference architectures for AI-driven data insight products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to align architectural strategies with business objectives.
• Partner with security and compliance teams to integrate governance principles by design.
• Conduct thorough reviews of designs and implementations to ensure architectural consistency and quality.
• Proactively identify technical risks and propose scalable, sustainable solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, and AI systems.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI or data products.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and contemporary AI technologies is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in designing distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, and agent-based architectures.
• Proficiency with data platforms, APIs, and AI integration patterns.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, and governance considerations pertinent to AI systems.
