GDS GCCO Enablement - Senior Associate - Legal - UK Quality

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team within EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) in India. As part of the GDS-GCO Enablement team, you will support the UK Quality team and EY’s UK business on critical risk management and service quality matters. You will provide essential legal support to the business, acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, often at senior levels, including engagement partners. Your primary focus will be to assess and understand how firm risks can be best managed and mitigated.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the UK business on Quality matters, assisting the UK-based Quality team in advising EY's partners and personnel on risk management issues.
- Develop a thorough understanding and appreciation of key business risks requiring management. Training will be provided on EY’s specific risk management framework.
- Review and provide risk management advice on engagement agreements, including statements of work and terms & conditions, NDAs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), framework agreements, proposals, subcontracts, and other ancillary documentation.
- Maintain awareness of the impact of changes in EY policies, organizational structure, and procedures.
- Assist in the creation, facilitation, and delivery of training programs for the UK business.
- Liaise with internal specialist functions, including Independence, onshore legal teams, Security, Privacy, and Risk Management.

Experience and Qualifications
- Law graduate with 3-5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal terms and conditions, statements of work, consulting and technology contracts, or other complex contracts. A solid understanding of general legal and risk management principles is required. Experience with UK law is preferred.
- Experience in dealing with IT contracts, including System Integration (S.I.) programs, niche projects, agile approaches, IT advisory, Program Management/Change around IT programs, and program/software development projects.
- Experience in senior management and stakeholder management.
- A demonstrated interest in risk management or compliance.
- Knowledge of GDPR concepts and other data protection and security considerations.
- Confidence in delivering subject matter content to peers and seniors, potentially facilitating training in person or via MS Teams.
- Project management experience.
- Understanding of compliance-related concepts such as Independence and Conflicts.
- Experience collaborating within multi-vendor IT landscapes.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating intellectual property (IP) terms in contracts.
