Job Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Tredence, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support our retail clients. Your success will ensure smooth deployments, operational reliability, and automation of services tailored to client needs. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to accelerate the last-mile adoption of AI-driven insights, maintaining a robust operational environment that delivers business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services, with a focus on AWS Lambda for serverless applications.
• Design, build, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable application deployments.
• Utilize Terraform for defining and provisioning cloud infrastructure as code, ensuring repeatability and version control.
• Monitor operational performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain high availability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Continuously improve automation, configuration management, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of professional experience with AWS Cloud, including hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.
• Strong proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code in cloud environment provisioning and management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or a related technical field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model in Bangalore.

Good to Have Skills:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with additional AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation of appropriate controls.
