Full Job Description
Join EY's Risk Management Services team as an Associate Analyst in Gurgaon, India. This role is integral to EY's Global Compliance Engagement Testing (GCET) program, which supports Global Risk Management by conducting compliance testing across Service Lines. As an Associate Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and executing global processes related to compliance monitoring of engagements against Legal, Regulatory, and EY Policy requirements. You will work in a complex environment, requiring out-of-the-box thinking, logical reasoning, and strong communication skills to make informed decisions.
The GCET program involves reviewing engagements to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal EY policies, providing feedback and ratings, and generating analytical reports for global, area, and regional stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to strengthening EY's compliance framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Learning and utilizing EY databases and tools for compliance monitoring.
- Conducting systematic and intuitive secondary research to identify potential non-compliance or regulatory breaches.
- Analyzing research findings, drawing inferences, and concluding reviews.
- Ensuring timely transmittal of review outcomes.
- Utilizing analytical and project management methodologies to meet KPIs.
- Adhering to standard operating procedures and timelines.
- Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and participating in team meetings to contribute improvement ideas.
- Delivering on ad hoc process activities and managing process deadlines to avoid escalations.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Ability to identify issues and analyze scenarios against policy requirements.
- Succinct and structured oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and decision-making capability.
Qualifications:
- Post-graduate or equivalent degree from a reputed college.
- 0-1 year of experience in research, compliance processes, data analysis, and reporting, with strong logical reasoning skills.
- Experience with MS Office suites (Microsoft 365, MS Excel, PowerPoint).
Ideally, you will also have knowledge of risk management attributes and critical thinking skills to solve problems with data.
