GCC SC Material Planner

Join Alstom's dynamic Solutions Centre team in Bengaluru as a GCC SC Material Planner. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your supply chain and materials management expertise in a forward-thinking environment. You will be instrumental in creating Material Planning documents within Alstom's ERP system, GSI, and effectively communicating delivery requirements to suppliers. Daily responsibilities include close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Site Material Planners, Site Buyers, Key Users, and Regional Business Process Experts. You will also coordinate with internal and external networks to ensure seamless material flow.

Your primary focus will be to guarantee the accuracy and availability of critical system information for Site Material Planners and to represent the site effectively in supplier interactions. Key tasks involve executing materials planning processes, receiving and confirming supplier deliveries, maintaining precise system data, and coordinating activities within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position demands end-to-end material planning and robust supplier relationship management, supported by strong analytical skills for extracting Management Information Systems (MIS) from supply chain data and effective cross-functional communication.

We are seeking candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree (Supply Chain specialization preferred) and 3-10 years of experience in supply chain processes and tools. Proficiency in an ERP tool with a Materials Management Module, fluent English communication skills, and an understanding of Material Requirement Planning are essential. Familiarity with MS EXCEL & BI tools is required. A certification in Supply Chain Management or prior experience in a Shared Services Centre or remote working environment is desirable.
