Game Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Game Developer specializing in Unity to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong understanding of game mechanics, competitive gameplay, ranking systems, and player progression to develop innovative gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Gameplay Engineering & Systems Architecture: Architect robust, modular gameplay systems using Unity 6. Design core mechanics like combat resolution, PvP interactions, and strategic decision-making logic. Implement data-driven systems for balancing and rapid iteration.
• Progression & Ranking Systems: Develop multi-tier league structures, membership rules, seasonal ranking mechanisms, and flexible reward/resource systems to maintain competitive integrity and player retention.
• Unity Development: Lead development of high-quality features using Unity 6. Implement responsive UI/UX, interactive menus, VFX, animations, and optimize rendering/memory usage for mobile platforms.
• Backend Integration: Integrate clients with backend services via REST APIs/WebSockets. Ensure secure validation of competitive results on the server and handle network failures robustly.
• Economy & Blockchain Integrity: Collaborate to integrate blockchain-enabled features, smart contract interactions for digital assets, while protecting rankings from cheating.
• Performance & Quality Assurance: Profile/debug using Unity Profiler. Write maintainable code with unit tests and participate in CI/CD pipelines and agile workflows.
