Fullstack Engineer at Syndr

Syndr is seeking a talented Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing high-performance trading interfaces and APIs, building critical trading infrastructure, and owning system design and architecture. You will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities, delivering critical business solutions under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance trading interfaces and APIs (REST + Websockets).
• Build critical trading infrastructure and components for trade execution, order matching, risk management, settlements, and data analytics.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to inform requirements, roadmap, and priorities.
• Own system design, architecture, and implementation, adhering to industry best practices.
• Deliver critical business solutions, tooling, and analytics under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional hands-on experience with Javascript/Typescript, Nextjs, React, Node, ChakraUI, and Golang.
• Experience creating responsive design systems from scratch.
• Expert knowledge of SQL-based databases.
• Proven experience building, securing, scaling, documenting, and deploying APIs (REST + Websockets).
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks, Postman, and Postgres.
• Strong mathematical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming in Go.
• Experience with Web3 libraries (ethers/web3py).
• Experience with A/B testing.
• Experience in financial services (TradFi/Crypto/DeFi).
• Prior trading experience (Traditional markets or crypto/DeFi) with knowledge of derivative products (futures, options, perpetuals).
• Experience with other non-trading DeFi products (swaps, lending, etc.).
• Experience working on trading systems and infrastructure.
