Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned MERN Stack Team Lead to guide a team in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills combined with strong leadership and mentoring abilities to ensure high-quality project delivery and optimal team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
• Drive technical decision-making and solution design.

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers.
• Effectively allocate tasks and manage sprint planning.
• Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Support team members in overcoming technical challenges.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Provide accurate effort estimations and technical timelines.
• Communicate project risks and propose mitigation plans.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Implement and maintain coding standards and development processes.
• Improve CI/CD workflows for efficient deployment.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Promote automated testing and comprehensive documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful APIs & microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of state management solutions like Redux or Context API.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques and security best practices.

Leadership Skills

• Proven experience leading development teams.
• Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.

• Experience with Next.js / SSR.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest / Cypress).

Experience Requirements

• 6+ years in full-stack development.
• 1-3+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
