Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Authoring Tools team at LearnWorlds. This role is based in Chania (Greece), Athens (Greece), Limassol (Cyprus), or Remote, serving the global EdTech market.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack features for our Authoring Tools, focusing on polished frontend experiences built with Vue.js while managing robust PHP backend services.
• Take strong ownership of your work from problem definition to release, including estimation, implementation, code review, and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape solutions rather than just implement designs. Use AI-powered coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) daily to enhance productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development in complex SaaS environments.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, Vue.js (frontend focus), and PHP. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP fundamentals, and database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL & MongoDB).
• Mindset: A pragmatic approach to legacy code, adaptability to changing requirements, and a product-oriented mindset that balances speed with quality.
