About the Team:

The Developer Platform, Productivity & Experience Engineering team within eBay's Global Technology organization builds and operates an AI/ML-powered Internal Developer Platform (IDP). The portfolio includes Continuous Delivery, Enterprise Testing, AI-driven no-code/low-code developer tools, Software Engineering Intelligence, and Developer Productivity platforms. Their mission is to remove friction from the software development lifecycle.

About the Role

We are hiring Senior Platform Engineers to modernize and scale eBay's development environments—mission-critical infrastructure underpinning our IDP.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build microservices using Java / Spring Boot that extend eBay's IDP.
• Develop intuitive front-end experiences for the Internal Developer Platform using React.
• Build, operate, and scale Kubernetes-based development environments.
• Reduce pipeline failures caused by environment dependencies through automation.

• Frontend expertise with React.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
