Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong AWS Full Stack Lead with 8–10 years of experience in designing, developing, and leading scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in React.js, Node.js BFF architecture, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, AWS Cognito, and modern engineering best practices.
The candidate will be responsible for leading the full stack development team, performing code reviews, resolving complex technical challenges, driving engineering standards, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable application delivery.
This role requires strong hands-on technical leadership along with the ability to mentor developers and collaborate effectively with architects, DevOps teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead the design and development of scalable full stack applications using React.js and Node.js.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and development governance.
- Conduct detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical scenarios.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design decisions.
- Ensure scalability, security, maintainability, and performance optimization of applications.
- Design and develop reusable and responsive UI components using React.js.
- Ensure optimized frontend performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement frontend state management using Redux/Context API.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams for seamless user experience implementation.
- Develop and maintain Node.js BFF (Backend for Frontend) services.
- Design and implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Implement authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito.
- Drive API governance, versioning, and performance optimization.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
- Ensure database performance tuning and data integrity.
- Work extensively with AWS cloud-native services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Ensure strong unit testing practices across frontend and backend applications.
- Drive adoption of automated testing frameworks and quality gates.
- Ensure adherence to static code analysis and code quality tools such as ESLint, Prettier, Jest.
- Improve code coverage, maintainability, and technical debt management.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and production readiness reviews.
