Full Stack Java & React Developer

Assystem STUP is seeking a skilled Full Stack Java & React Developer to join its digital engineering team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using modern Java technologies (Spring Boot, J2EE), cloud-native practices, and advanced React front-end frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade software solutions, driving the company's digital transformation. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java/Spring Boot (back end) and React.js with Redux (front end).
• Utilize Java, React, Redux, Redux-Saga, Redux Toolkit, and custom hooks.
• Design and implement scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Model and optimize databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions for automated processes.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and adherence to security best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies such as serverless computing, GraphQL, WebSockets, and AI-driven development tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Design and implement technical solutions, standards, and procedures.
• Provide technical expertise for various projects within Assystem's Digital entity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE and React.js.
• Passion for new technologies, curiosity, rigor, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Redux Toolkit, Redux-Saga, custom hooks, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API-first design, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and server configuration.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with additional JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Node.js, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Excellent grasp of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, TDD/BDD).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (French is a plus).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with document management systems.
• Exposure to real-time systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets).
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory integration).
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for OpenKM deployment.
• Prior experience in records management, digital archiving, or compliance-driven industries.
