Project Overview
As an Integration Engineer within our Pune team at Luxoft (a DXC Technology Company), you will drive the design and delivery of critical integration components connecting Loan IQ with upstream and downstream banking systems. You will lead technical implementation in your pod, mentor mid-level developers, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools alongside cloud-native patterns to enhance productivity, code quality, scalability, and delivery speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of robust REST APIs and messaging interfaces for core banking integrations.
- Build reusable UI components & frontend frameworks aligned with enterprise standards using React/TypeScript.
- Oversee code quality, conduct rigorous peer reviews, and enforce integration best practices within a DevOps-first culture.
- Collaborate closely with QA engineers and Business Analysts/Product Owners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute actively to CI/CD setup (Jenkins/GitLab) and streamline release processes for financial services products.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance across distributed interfaces.
Cloud & Architecture Focus
You will design and implement cloud-native integrations using Microsoft Azure services, leveraging serverless patterns like Azure Functions. A strong understanding of event-driven architecture, microservices, and API-led connectivity is essential. Experience with messaging services such as Service Bus or Event Grid on Azure is highly valued.
AI-Assisted Development
We promote responsible AI-based engineering practices to accelerate development cycles. You will utilize tools like GitLab Copilot for code generation, unit test creation, debugging, and documentation while maintaining strict governance standards.
Mandatory Skills
- Backend Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, Kafka/MQ messaging, ideally within the financial services sector.
- Frontend Proficiency: Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS to build enterprise-grade UIs.
- Integration Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with core banking or lending platforms (Loan IQ) is essential.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Strong proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab for continuous integration pipelines.
