About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Front-End Lead Engineer with deep expertise in the MEAN/MERN stack. You will lead our front-end engineering team, building scalable web applications and managing database architecture on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Guide the front-end team in developing maintainable apps using Angular or React within a MERN environment.
• Front-End Development: Create modern, responsive interfaces with high performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• API Optimization: Integrate RESTful APIs to reduce latency and enhance scalability under load.

Performance & Architecture

• Optimize application load times via code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
• Manage local storage, cookies, and session data securely for fast client-side handling.
• Monitor performance using tools like Lighthouse and WebPageTest to ensure high quality standards.

Database & Cloud

• Design schemas for both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases ensuring scalability.
• Deploy applications on AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, and others.

Engineering Practices

• Maintain version control using Git/GitHub workflows for seamless collaboration.
• Enforce coding standards through rigorous code reviews and comprehensive testing strategies.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS is essential.
• Expert-level knowledge in Angular (latest version) or React for front-end roles.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js backends.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases.
• Hands-on proficiency with AWS services like S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years in professional full-stack development is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver successful projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for effective project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• A background in lead engineering roles is highly valued.
