Full Stack Flutter Developer

We are an early-stage, founder-led product company based in the United States, developing a digital platform that originated from a highly successful podcast with over one million weekly listeners. Our evolution has led to a dedicated mobile application that is now central to our long-term vision. As we enter our next phase, we are seeking a Founding Full Stack Flutter Developer to be our first full-time engineering hire, taking complete end-to-end ownership of our mobile application. This hands-on, high-impact role is perfect for someone who thrives on building products from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with the founder on product requirements and roadmap decisions, partner with an experienced designer on UI/UX execution, and make critical technical decisions across frontend, backend, and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of a production-ready Flutter application for iOS and Android.
• Translate detailed product requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models.
• Make informed decisions regarding system architecture, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate directly with the founder on product direction, prioritization, and execution.
• Implement pixel-perfect UI based on detailed Figma designs and redlines.
• Test code thoroughly to ensure stability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Manage the full release lifecycle, including deployments to the App Store and Google Play.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt, performance issues, and stability risks.
• Take long-term ownership of code quality, maintainability, and system health.

Required Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience building production applications with Flutter.
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer, encompassing frontend, backend, and basic DevOps.
• Demonstrated ability to build and ship a product from inception.
• Solid understanding of system design and application architecture.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs and working with databases.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear and proactive communication skills, comfortable working directly with a founder.
• Strong product intuition and understanding of user behavior in mobile applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with audio, media, or content-driven applications.
• Familiarity with subscription models, payments, or monetization features.
• Experience refactoring or stabilizing existing production systems.
• Prior startup or scale-up experience with a high degree of ownership responsibility.
• Experience working remotely with distributed or global teams.

Work Schedule

Collaboration hours will align with the founder's location in the United States (Eastern Time):

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST
