Full Stack Engineering Manager

JFrog is seeking a passionate Full Stack Engineering Manager to lead a team within our Business Applications group in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This pivotal role involves designing and owning systems that enhance customer journeys, from initial lead engagement through purchase and provisioning, ensuring seamless, scalable, and increasingly self-service business operations. Your contributions will directly influence revenue, customer onboarding, and overall company operational efficiency. This management position is ideal for an individual dedicated to nurturing talent, driving execution, and shaping technical strategy, while remaining hands-on by guiding architecture, reviewing critical code, and providing support as needed.

As a Full Stack Engineering Manager at JFrog, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of full stack engineers, promoting ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Oversee the delivery and technical roadmap for business-critical systems supporting purchase, billing, and provisioning workflows.
• Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Finance, Marketing, and various R&D departments.
• Translate intricate business requirements into robust, scalable, and reliable technical solutions.
• Champion strong engineering practices in architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production reliability.
• Ensure the security, maintainability, and scalability of our systems.
• Foster clarity and focus through effective prioritization and impediment removal.
• Provide technical contributions by guiding system design, reviewing architecture, and assisting with complex backend and frontend challenges.

To be successful as a Full Stack Engineering Manager at JFrog, you need:

• A minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including over 2 years managing engineering teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated success in developing and advancing engineers through mentoring, feedback, performance management, and career path guidance.
• Proven experience in building and scaling high-performing teams characterized by strong ownership and accountability.
• A robust technical foundation with practical experience in production-grade backend systems.
• A solid understanding of contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of backend architecture, distributed systems, and microservices design.
• Experience in SaaS environments, with proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective negotiation between business objectives and technical decisions.
• A profound sense of ownership and accountability for production systems and their impact on customers.

Additional Advantages:

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Familiarity with Node.js or Java.
• Experience with Vue.js.

Note: This role is based in Bangalore (Bellandur) and requires a minimum of 3 days of mandatory in-office work per week.
