About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this remote-first position, you will work across the entire technology stack. Responsibilities span from database design using PostgreSQL to backend development with TypeScript/Node.js and user interface implementation via React. You will take full features from concept through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript across APIs, databases, and web applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust PostgreSQL schemas supporting the product.
• Create clean, responsive, and efficient user interfaces with React.
• Deploy to modern cloud environments and manage reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Take ownership of features from initial implementation through production deployment.
• Contribute to strategic product decisions as an early team member establishing engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable ability to build and deliver software via portfolio, GitHub projects, open-source contributions, or CTF experience.
• Strong working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, SQL, and data modeling fundamentals.
• Solid front-end development skills with React (Next.js preferred).
• A security-conscious approach to identifying risks during development.
• The ability to work independently without relying on a closely managed backlog.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or experience in AI and LLM applications.
• Background in cybersecurity or application security.
• Experience with cloud platforms, serverless technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
