Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

You will work within a globally distributed engineering organization at Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) to support Finance business processes. You are expected to build scalable reporting, analytics, and API-driven applications using Python backend stacks alongside modern React frontends.

• Design, develop, test, and operate scalable reporting and analytical applications for Apple Finance business users.
• Build backend services and APIs primarily using Python (FastAPI).
• Develop responsive web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources into actionable insights and decision-support capabilities.
• Work closely with Finance business partners to understand requirements for automation and reporting.
• Mentor interns and junior engineers through design discussions and code reviews.

Experience building financial, accounting, or enterprise applications is preferred. Knowledge of Snowflake, Apache Spark/PySpark, Kafka, NoSQL databases (Cassandra), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is highly valued.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering or data application development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python with object-oriented and functional concepts.
• Experience developing production APIs using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or comparable frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and practical experience with relational/analytical databases (Snowflake, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Demonstrated understanding of software engineering fundamentals including distributed systems patterns, observability, security, and testing.

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
