Full stack engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer based in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana. In this Full Stack Engineer (Python & GCP) position, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts within our Hyderabad office environment
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the Telangana technology domain
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects associated with technology domains, including upgrades and deployments relevant to local operations
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges related to low to medium risk deliverables requiring research and evaluation of alternative technologies
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate as needed to meet established service level agreements in the Hyderabad region
• Exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of given technology domains with security and compliance requirements aligned with Wells Fargo standards
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders within our India operations

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, education in the Hyderabad market.

Desired Qualifications:

• Full-Stack Development Expertise - 2+ years of experience with Single page applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Modern frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, Bootstrap etc.
• Develop and maintain large scale applications using Java, Python, Go, GCP public cloud, and other relevant technologies deployed in Indian markets
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes within our Hyderabad infrastructure
• Cloud Native Experience - 1+ experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Developing and deploying cloud native solutions for enterprise needs
• Experience with terraform development for infrastructure as code
• Generative AI Solution Design - 1+ experience designing and developing Generative AI frameworks and solutions
• Enterprise Application Development tailored to our operational scale
• Proven track record (2+ years) in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications with scalability, security, and performance in mind for the APAC region
• Agility and Self-Starter Mindset suited for dynamic environments
• Ability to iterate quickly, adapt to evolving requirements, and deliver solutions at speed within our Hyderabad team
