Full Stack Engineer

FloQast is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our expanding engineering team in Pune, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling comprehensive end-to-end features. You will leverage modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and AWS-based cloud services to create high-quality, customer-focused solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers. For candidates with lead-level experience, this role includes significant technical ownership, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to architectural decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Construct scalable and reliable backend services employing modern architectural patterns.
• Develop responsive and performant user interfaces.
• Design and integrate APIs, including third-party services.
• Work extensively with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build cloud-native solutions.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Actively participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architectural planning.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Quality Assurance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required Skills:

• 3 to 10 years of professional experience in Full Stack development.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Proven experience in building backend services, preferably with Node.js or similar technologies.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of system design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
