Role Overview
We seek a Full Stack Engineer who excels at the intersection of web development, data engineering, and backend architecture based in Navi Mumbai (Reliance Corporate Park).
About the Role
This position is designed for an adaptable engineer comfortable wearing multiple hats. We value robust Python backends over hyper-specialization; you will build scalable APIs, design clean ETL pipelines to populate SQL databases, and optimize database performance.
While your primary focus may be backend/data engineering, there is a requirement for frontend adaptability using ReactJS to create functional interfaces that bring data to life. Pixel-perfect UI skills are not required; functionality takes precedence.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Backend Architecture: Design and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django (or FastAPI/Flask).
- Data Pipelines & ETL: Build efficient pipelines to process, clean, and load datasets into relational databases.
- Database Optimization: Write complex SQL queries, design schemas, and manage database scaling for high performance.
- Frontend Adaptability: Develop functional ReactJS interfaces connecting data layers to user interactions.
- Product Ownership: Ensure end-to-end reliability, uptime, and accuracy of our data product applications.
Qualifications
Educational Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Experience Level: 2–4 years working with web backends, database design, or data-intensive applications.
Required Technical Skills
- Python Web Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience in Django (or similar).
- Databases: Deep comfort writing complex SQL queries and managing relational databases.
- Mindset: Ability to bridge engineering domains from script automation to API design.
Preferred Skills
- Frontend Technologies: Experience with ReactJS or Next.js (training provided if needed).
- Pipeline Tools: Familiarity with schedulers like Apache Airflow, Celery, or Cron jobs.
- Infrastructure: Knowledge of Docker, AWS/GCP cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines.
