Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

You will join a client's in-house engineering team working on a clinical learning platform undergoing migration with new AI-powered features. This is a hands-on senior role involving code writing, technical design shaping, mentoring engineers, and direct collaboration with US-based stakeholders.

• Design, build, and maintain front-end, back-end, and API components using TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and React.
• Build and integrate AI features utilizing LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and advanced prompt engineering techniques.
• Create optimized data models with SQL for relational databases.
• Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and act as the first escalation point for complex issues.

Mandatory Skills

7+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on full-stack development. Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Express, React, SQL (relational data modeling and query optimization), REST API design, and third-party integrations.

• Hands-on integration with LLM APIs using structured outputs and system prompts.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Unit testing/TDD and code reviews within Agile teams (sprints, refinement, estimation).

Excellent spoken and written English with comfort working directly with US clients is required.
