The Role

You will join the Corporate Banking team shaping new solutions for UK mid-market clients. Success means building deep relationships, managing portfolio performance with strong credit skills, anticipating client needs, and delivering innovative compliant solutions across lending, treasury, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with mid-market companies using market insight and AI tools.
• Anticipate client risks and opportunities while connecting them to Investec's full expertise.
• Manage portfolio performance, ensuring credit, regulatory, and reputational risks are addressed.
• Collaborate across technology, operations, risk, and service for a seamless client experience.
• Mentor Associate RMs and support a culture of high performance and curiosity.

Requirements

• Substantial proven experience in corporate banking with BA-level education or CFA/ACA qualification.
• Sector insight in TMT, Healthcare, Professional Services, Manufacturing, or Consumer sectors.
• Strong commercial judgement and excellent analytical/credit skills including financial modelling.
• Credibility with specialist desks and credit partners to build trust quickly.
• Hands-on ownership taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial energy moving at pace and embracing innovation.
