Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Join DeskBuddy to be at the forefront of India's AI revolution. As a Full Stack Engineer Intern, you will work on building real-world features for our core product over six months, gaining exposure to React/Next.js, Node.js, Voice AI infrastructure, LLMs, WhatsApp Business APIs, and production deployments.

DeskBuddy is a 10-person startup combining Voice AI, WhatsApp Business, Conversational AI & LLMs, AI Agents & Automation, CRM workflows, and real-world integrations to help businesses communicate and operate more efficiently.

What You Will Build

• End-to-end ownership of features from problem definition through production deployment.
• Work with React / Next.js for frontend development.
• Develop backend services using Node.js, APIs, and robust database architecture.
• Integrate Voice AI infrastructure and LLM-based agents.
• Implement WhatsApp Business API integrations and third-party webhooks.

We Are Looking For

You should be a problem-solver who enjoys independent work, understands real product development cycles, is passionate about emerging technology like AI, possesses strong programming fundamentals (specifically React + Node.js), and has the curiosity to learn quickly in an early-stage startup environment.

Important Details

• This is a 6-month FULL-TIME UNPAID internship with no stipend during this period.
• We offer real product ownership, engineering experience within a small team (10 people), and the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance at the end of the term. Full-time roles are not guaranteed immediately upon completion.
