Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer at VectorShift in India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core DNA of our user experience. Given the no/low-code nature of our platform, we are seeking a technically proficient individual with a profound passion for crafting engaging, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces. This is an exceptional opportunity to directly influence the product's direction and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with the founders to conceptualize and implement an outstanding user interface.
• Lead critical architecture decisions, ensuring the platform's scalability and maintainability for future growth.
• Drive forward web performance optimization initiatives to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Champion and implement UI/UX best practices, ensuring user-centric design principles are at the heart of every decision.
• Incorporate user feedback to foster continuous iteration and refinement of the platform.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and integrate them strategically where relevant.
• Establish foundational development practices to guide and onboard future team members.

Requirements:

• A degree in a technical discipline, with a strong preference for Computer Science.
• Proven experience with React/NextJS or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience across the entire web development lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment.
• Ability to integrate seamlessly with backend APIs.
• Familiarity with source control tools, with a preference for Git.
• In-depth knowledge of responsive design principles and implementation.
• A keen eye for user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Strong communication skills and a highly collaborative mindset.
• Exceptional problem-solving aptitude and a genuine enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in early-stage startup environments.
• Familiarity with no/low-code platform development or usage.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
• Experience with Python FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
