Full Stack Engineer

AHEAD is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This role involves building secure, high-performance services and user interfaces for internal products and integrations within Enterprise Technology. You will work across the full technology stack, including React/Next.js for frontends, FastAPI/Python for backend services, and cloud-native infrastructure. Key responsibilities include developing reliable features, automating workflows, and integrating with data platforms like Snowflake and PostgreSQL. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and the AI team to deliver API-driven, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy/SQLModel.
• Build responsive, accessible frontends with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and modern styling/testing tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; define Kubernetes deployments via Helm Charts; operate services in Azure or AWS.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code for application resources using Terraform.
• Model data and implement performant queries/ORM interactions with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Design and integrate secure REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
• Apply unit testing practices and CI quality gates; contribute to TDD/BDD where appropriate.
• Leverage asynchronous patterns for improved performance, reliability, and throughput.
• Collaborate with the AI team on integration patterns such as RAG endpoints and vectorization flows.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide architectural guidance.
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional full stack development experience in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python with FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy/SQLModel.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills with React/Next.js.
• Working knowledge of GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, and networking fundamentals.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and Snowflake; familiarity with ORM patterns and query optimization.
• Understanding of REST API design and async programming.
• Solid grasp of OOP, unit testing, and code quality practices.
• Familiarity with vectorization and RAG concepts is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic frameworks is a plus.
