Full Stack Engineer

As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Rocketlane, you will own meaningful parts of our product from design through production. You will be responsible for designing and building features end-to-end across our React frontend and Java backend. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Product and Design to create thoughtful user experiences, developing polished interfaces for complex SaaS workflows, and architecting scalable APIs and data models.

Core requirements involve deep expertise in at least one area of the stack (Frontend: React/TypeScript; Backend: Java/Spring) combined with solid fundamentals across others. You must solve challenging problems involving real-time collaboration, large datasets, and enterprise use cases while making architectural decisions regarding databases, caching, and asynchronous processing.

Nice to have experiences include building B2B SaaS products in a startup environment, AWS usage, Docker/containerization, CI/CD pipelines, Playwright/Cypress automation frameworks, and AI-assisted product development. This role is perfect for an engineer who enjoys owning problems end-to-end rather than just completing tickets.
