Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a small, high-ownership engineering team at Recro (Bengaluru), India. You will build systems that process large volumes of enterprise data using reliable workflows and AI/LLM capabilities.

You'll work across backend, frontend, data processing, and cloud infrastructure in a hybrid setup with significant ownership from design to production.

What You'll Do

• Build APIs and backend services using TypeScript/NestJS.
• Develop durable, long-running workflows using Temporal.
• Build interfaces using React + Vite.
• Work with Python for data processing and AI workflows.
• Process large datasets using Polars, DuckDB, and Parquet.
• Manage databases like PostgreSQL, Redis on Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Write reliable tests and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Spearhead architecture decisions in a fast-moving startup environment.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with shipped work.
• Strong TypeScript and working knowledge of Python.
• Solid backend/API development skills.
• Proficient SQL understanding for real-world data scenarios.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Aptitude to thrive independently in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.
• Strong communication and documentation habits.
