Full Stack Engineer

Join recrew ai as a Full Stack Engineer in our Engineering team, based in Bangalore, India. This is a full-time, permanent position within the AI, Workforce Housing, and Enterprise Software industry.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining features for our AI-powered marketplace platform, which is transforming how enterprises manage employee accommodations. You will work extensively with Node.js for backend development and Next.js/React for the frontend, integrating sophisticated AI agents and LLM capabilities. Your contributions will directly impact the workforce housing solutions for global enterprises and streamline processes for housing providers.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a 14-person, post-PMF startup where your code has a tangible effect on a critical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful API endpoints using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build dynamic frontend features and components using Next.js and React.
• Write and optimize MySQL database queries and manage schema changes.
• Implement complex business logic and multi-step workflows across the platform.
• Integrate AI agents and LLM capabilities using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Build and deploy serverless applications on AWS.
• Write clean, testable, and well-structured code adhering to established engineering patterns.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
• Proven experience building applications with React and Next.js that serve over 50,000 users.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, including query writing and schema design principles.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with payment platforms like Stripe.
• Familiarity with AWS Amplify or infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Background in marketplace, housing, or relocation platforms.
• Experience with MySQL stored procedures.
