Full Stack Engineer (Backend Focus) - Bangalore, Karnataka

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain a microservices architecture.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless system communication.
• Optimize system performance and ensure high levels of stability.
• Deploy applications effectively on the Azure cloud platform.
• Implement comprehensive unit testing and uphold high code quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
• Address and resolve production issues, contributing to system troubleshooting.
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Key Technical Requirements

• Demonstrated strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Expertise in designing and developing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience working within an Azure cloud environment.
• Solid knowledge of backend performance optimization and ensuring system stability.
• Proven experience with unit testing and adherence to code quality best practices.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build scalable and efficient backend systems.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of dedicated backend development experience, as part of an overall 8-12 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
