Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are actively seeking a passionate and highly skilled Full Stack Developer to become a vital part of our engineering team based in Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will possess strong, practical expertise in React.js for front-end development and PostgreSQL for database management. Experience with AWS cloud services is essential, alongside a collaborative approach and a proven ability to solve complex problems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust and scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications utilizing React.js and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, complex queries, and stored procedures for optimal performance.
• Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs and associated backend services.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications hosted on AWS infrastructure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, actively participating in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and the promotion of best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Possess 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in React.js, including component architecture, hooks, and state management solutions like Redux or Context API.
• Exhibit solid experience with PostgreSQL, encompassing schema design, complex query writing, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Have hands-on experience with key AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or similar.
• Be familiar with REST API design principles and integration techniques.
• Proficient in using version control systems, primarily Git.
• Understand CI/CD pipelines and fundamental DevOps practices.
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to thrive in an agile team environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with Python scripting for automation, data processing, or backend development tasks.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to TypeScript or Next.js.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).

Important Notes

This is a strictly 100% onsite role, requiring attendance at our Bengaluru office five days a week.

Consideration will be given only to candidates currently residing in Bengaluru or those willing to relocate immediately.

All candidates must be prepared for an online technical assessment as the initial step in the interview process.
