About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer - Python to design, build, enhance, and support enterprise-grade web applications. You will transform MVP solutions into scalable systems by developing robust features, improving code quality, and reducing technical debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design and maintain frontend/backend components; build scalable APIs aligned with architecture standards;
- Modernization: Refactor legacy code, address performance bottlenecks, and improve modularity;
- Quality & Reliability: Develop unit/integration tests, participate in code reviews, and support production issue analysis;
- Collaboration: Work with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams within Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills:
- Frontend: React / Angular or modern JavaScript/TypeScript;
- Backend: Python (Advanced) with Node.js or Java experience preferred;
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server; relational data modelling;
- Cloud & Platform: Azure services for app hosting and identity integration;
- DevOps: CI/CD workflows, Git management, container basics.
Experience Requirements:
We require a minimum of 8 years (or up to 10+ as per qualifications) of professional experience in full stack software development. You must have proven experience building enterprise or SaaS applications and modernizing existing production systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field required. Background verification is mandatory for candidates joining WSP India.
