Full Stack Developer

Michelin is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer for its Pune, India location. This role requires a technologist capable of evaluating complex digital environments and technology stacks to build, code, and maintain efficient digital solutions.

As an API software developer, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in JAVA Spring MVC frameworks and REST API Microservices, along with significant knowledge of supporting back-end application systems.

Key responsibilities include participating in the development of software platforms and mobile applications, writing code to implement solutions from the ground up, and building interfaces between internal and external systems. You will implement and maintain APIs for data flow across a complex network of embedded, cloud-based, and mobile devices, enabling integration with service providers and fleet customers, with a focus on RESTful API implementation.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using Spring Boot. A minimum of 1 year of development experience is essential. Proficiency is required in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Rest, Spring Data, and Spring Boot, with mandatory knowledge of Microservices API development and RESTful API design and development. Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases, JSON, XML, and Junit is expected. Experience with IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ, build tools such as Maven/Gradle, and web/application servers like Tomcat, Websphere, and Weblogic is also required. A strong grasp of Java programming and object-oriented design principles is crucial. While not mandatory, proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, familiarity with Git version control, and understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies are highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills are essential for thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Required Technical Skills: Hands-on software development experience in Spring MVC JAVA and knowledge of Microservices API development.
