Full Stack Developer — Node.js

About the role

We are looking for a developer with commercial project experience in both PHP/Laravel and Node.js, along with React experience. You will contribute to upcoming projects, enhance existing applications, and work with our development team to resolve technical issues.

The expected work allocation is approximately 60% Node.js/React and 40% PHP/Laravel, with flexibility toward a 50:50 split depending on project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications using Node.js, React, PHP and Laravel.
• Maintain and troubleshoot assigned applications in collaboration with the existing team.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work with MySQL databases, including queries, relationships and application data handling.
• Understand existing code and extend functionality while checking affected workflows.
• Investigate bugs, identify their causes and implement tested fixes.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate through code reviews.
• Document relevant setup steps, application changes and integration details.
• Participate in initial training and codebase walkthroughs to understand the company's systems and business processes.

Essential skills and experience

• 3–4 years of overall professional web development experience.
• Hands-on commercial project experience in both PHP/Laravel and Node.js.
• Commercial React experience, including components, forms, state handling and API integration.
• Good understanding of JavaScript, asynchronous programming and backend API development.
• Practical MySQL experience.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS and responsive interfaces.
• Experience using Git and debugging existing applications.
• Ability to explain personal contributions to previous projects and take assigned work through development, testing and review.

Preferred experience

• Approximately 2–3 years of hands-on Node.js and React development within the overall experience.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.
• Third-party API integrations and production issue resolution.
• Experience working across existing applications and new development projects.

Pay: 40,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month
