Job Overview

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer who understands how to leverage the power of AI coding tools to build scalable web applications efficiently using our Node.js, React, and Postgres tech stack.

This role champions "Vibe Engineering"—using modern AI pairs like Cursor, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex to rapidly generate, iterate, and refine high-quality code under the guidance of senior team members. This is perfect for a tech-savvy early-career developer who excels at prompt engineering, context management, and systems thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-Driven Development: Build full-stack applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend). Collaborate with AI tools to accelerate development cycles while maintaining code quality.
• Testing Automation & Quality: Design, write, and maintain comprehensive unit tests. Leverage AI tools to generate robust test coverage for regression-free builds.
• Architecture & Scalability: Ensure that all AI-generated or modified code conforms to scalable, clean, and secure architecture patterns under senior guidance.
• Code Reviews: Conduct reviews to ensure the codebase remains maintainable, reliable, and free of technical debt.
• Database Management: Structure data using Postgres, utilizing modern ORMs like Prisma for efficient querying and layer management.
• Deployment & DevOps: Containerize applications using Docker to assist in maintaining environments across staging and production.
• Maintenance: Debug, patch, and optimize existing codebases using AI tools for rapid troubleshooting.

Requirements

• AI Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI-augmented environments (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot/Codex) is required to build real-world applications.

• Core Technical Knowledge: Clear foundational understanding of Node.js, React.

• Databases & ORM: Strong grasp of relational databases (Postgres) and experience with ORMs like Prisma.

• Testing Mindset: Understand automated testing principles, specifically writing clean unit tests.

• DevOps Basics: Familiarity with containerization concepts using Docker.

• Critical Thinking: The ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, spot logical errors, and steer the tool toward correct solutions.

• Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn from senior engineers and align workflows with enterprise standards (Coachability).
